Bonhomme Richard is the lead ship of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group (BHRARG), comprised of USS Green Bay (LPD 20), USS Ashland (LSD 48) and embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (31st MEU), assigned to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
