IMAGE: Industry partners from more than 300 businesses made their way to the Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center for Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division’s Small Business Outreach and Engagement Event May 3. Attendees were encouraged to visit networking table stations in the afternoon with department representatives.

EXU-1 Participates in EODTEU-2 U.S. Navy CrabEx

Personnel attached to Expeditionary Exploitation Unit One (EXU-1) prepares material recovered during the U.S. Navy’s Crab Exercise (CrabEx) for forensic photography. CrabEx is an annual training exercise requiring explosive ordnance disposal units to clear a range of simulated explosive threats during full mission profile drills using special operations mobility tactics and advanced technologies.

NSWC Crane electro-optic expert represents Navy and receives three-year international appointment

A Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) employee has been appointed as the United States Navy Representative for the Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) Group Technical Panel 3 within The Technical Cooperation Program (TTCP). Dr. Benjamin Conley’s TTCP appointment is a three-year role which began in February.
