Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division’s (NSWC Crane) microelectronics subject-matter experts (SMEs) mentored more than 120 students in the 2nd annual HackIN hackathon. The multi-day event took place last fall and included students from seven states and six universities.

Adrian Wos, mechanical engineer for the Navy’s Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) and the Naval Acquisition Development Program (NADP), cleans and post-processes a 3D printer-made, model-scale propeller. Wos is one of two interns participating in NSWC PHD’s In-Service Engineering Agent collaboration with MARMC and NADP’s virtual internship program.
