Greene Assumes Command of SEA 21 and Regional Maintenance Centers

Rear Adm. William Greene relieved (R) Rear Adm. Eric Ver Hage, as Commander, Navy Regional Maintenance Center (CNRMC) and Director, Surface Maintenance, Modernization and Sustainment (SEA 21) during a ceremony held at the Washington Navy Yard. Vice Admiral Bill Galinis, Commander, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) hosted the ceremony.

Dr. Richard Tatum, Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division scientist, was recently recognized with the Individual Scientist Award from the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Research, Development and Acquisition) 2023 Dr. Delores M. Etter Top Scientists and Engineers Awards. He developed and extended a mathematical framework to identify cost-effective, hypothetical autonomous systems to accomplish fleet mission goals.
