Dr. Brett Seidle (SES), Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development, Test, and Engineering, delivered remarks at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Missile Testing Evaluation Facility held at NSWC Crane Division. Dr. Seidle (SES) was provided with a tour showcasing the base's current milestones and progress. Also speaking at the event were NSWC Crane Division Technical Director Angela Lewis (SES), NSWC Crane Division CAPT Rex Boonyobhas, and Mr. JR Ross (SSTM).

(July 2019) Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) developed the Hammer Activated Measurement System for Testing and Evaluating Rubber (HAMSTER) to determine the condition of the interface bond between a coating and the hull.
