(Sept. 8, 2019) A team called “Cactus Balloon Scream” who received 1st place for track 1, receive a check for $20,000 for their participation during the HacktheMachine competition at the Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York City, Sept. 8, 2019. NAVAIR Leader Highlights Hispanic Heritage Month at NSWC Philadelphia

High School Students Complete Summer Internships at NSWCPD

PHILADELPHIA (August 7, 2019) High school students working at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) completed their eight-week summer internships by presenting their research projects to the Command’s engineers. Every year, NSWCPD partners with the Office of Naval Research (ONR) Science and Engineering Apprenticeship Program (SEAP) to provide high school students an opportunity to participate in research while being mentored by professional scientists and engineers. NSWCPD’s Course Catalog and Registration Development Team Receives Training Officers Consortium Award

(June 11, 2019) Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) Dave Perritt (left) and Ryan Fox (right) won the 2019 Training Officers Consortium’s Learning Technologies Award during the 64th annual Distinguished Service Awards Ceremony.
