NSWCPD Utilizes War Games to Connect with the Warfighter

(5 March 2020) Participants of a Power and Energy focused war game hosted by Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Dam Neck Activity. The game was developed by Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) engineers with support from NSWCDD, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD), Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Newport Division, Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and Naval Warfare Development Command (NWDC). The game featured warfighters from Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) in Norfolk and San Diego, United States Marine Corps (USMC), and the Navy Reserve community. NSWCPD and Rowan University Continue Third Year of Naval Engineering Education Consortium (NEEC) Research

High School Students Complete Summer Internships at NSWCPD

PHILADELPHIA (August 7, 2019) High school students working at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) completed their eight-week summer internships by presenting their research projects to the Command’s engineers. Every year, NSWCPD partners with the Office of Naval Research (ONR) Science and Engineering Apprenticeship Program (SEAP) to provide high school students an opportunity to participate in research while being mentored by professional scientists and engineers.
