Norco Navy to Host Open House Science Experience and STEM Career Fair
October 26, 2018 — Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, will host a public open house and career fair at the Norco naval base on Saturday, Nov. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., for all ages to discover the fun of science and engineering. The free event is an opportunity for the public to visit one of the country's prestigious federal laboratory facilities. The command’s human resources department will be on hand to discuss job opportunities and make employment offers on the spot to qualified candidates. High school and college students can lean about Navy internship programs and the Department of Defense SMART Scholarship program for STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) degrees.
