NSWC Panama City engineers help Republic of Korea develop air-cushion vehicle

The Landing Ship Fast II (LSF-II) craft 633 is shown after inflating the skirting. This December 2022 operation tested the Command, Control, Communication, Computers, and Navigation (C4N) system for operating the engine and running the lift fans used to inflate the bags in the skirting, and the propellers and air ducts used to maneuver the craft on the tarmac. This is the first time the C4N operated as a system and actively controlled functions aboard the vessel.
