Navy Scientists and Engineers Inspire Fifth Graders at 2018 NAS Oceana Air Show

(Sep. 21, 2018) – The combined science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) team from Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division, NSWCDD Dam Neck Activity, and Dahlgren’s Sly Fox program led education efforts through hands-on STEM displays to fifth grade Virginia Beach elementary school students at the annual NAS Oceana Air Show.

Indiana University's CACR Director Mr. Von Welch and NSWC Crane Technical Director Dr. Brett Seidle re-signed a CRADA agreement on Sept. 13, 2018. The goal is to grow the collaboration between IU and NSWC Crane to improve capabilities in the areas of software assurance and trusted artificial intelligence.
