Lisa Franchetti and Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy James Honea experience the Navy Sea, Air, and Land (SEAL) Team Delivery Vehicle (SDV) firsthand during their tour of Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, Oct. 24. U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technicians assigned to EOD Mobile Unit 8 conduct clearance and disposal operations of improvised explosive devices during Northern Challenge 2024 in Keflavik, Iceland, Sept. 29, 2024. Northern Challenge is an annual, joint-funded multinational EOD exercise hosted by the Icelandic Coast Guard aimed at preparing NATO Allies and NATO’s Partnership for Peace partners for international deployments and defense against terrorism.
