New lathe dedicated to fallen Navy SEAL

Capt. JD Crinklaw, commander, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility, pays tribute to Special Warfare Operator 1st Class (Navy SEAL) Patrick D. Feeks during a special lathe dedication ceremony Aug. 12, 2023, in Rochester, N.Y. Feeks was killed in Afghanistan Aug. 16, 2012.

Lincoln availability reaches midway point

USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) project team members celebrate with a barbecue June 27, 2023, in San Diego, after reaching the 50-percent mark in the carrier's six-month planned incremental availability at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility Detachment San Diego. The availability began April 1. Reaching the 50-percent milestone keeps the project team on track for an on-time completion.
