NSWCDD Engineers Develop Post Intercept Debris Simulation to Protect Warfighters, Improve Capability

Parker, left, is the Post Intercept Debris Simulation (PIDS) Program’s technical lead. McConnell is the technical lead for the Damaged State Modeling of a Post Intercept Threat Program, also known as Damaged States. Miller is the program manager for both programs. PIDS is designed to provide Department of Defense testbeds with a representation of post-intercept debris for specific missile engagements. Command Evaluation and Review Office Updates Name to Better Reflect Inspection, Investigation, Audit Responsibilities

The office has inspector general-like responsibilities including inspections, investigations and audit tracking, and recently underwent an official name change to better reflect that role. Previously, CR&I was referred to as Command Evaluation and Review.
