200213-N-YH772-0008 Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) recently developed the Inventory Sheet Automation process, which utilizes a Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) tablet and scanner to electronically complete the requisite inventory sheets. The use of a barcode scanner to automate the input of inventory management data reduces inventory time by 60 percent while also reducing risk of human error.
