NSWCPD and Temple Continue STEM Summer Camps Virtually

PHILADELPHIA (29 July 2019) Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) Commanding Officer Capt. Dana Simon welcomes middle and high school students participating in Temple University’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) summer camps on July 29, 2019. This year, the summer camps were entirely virtual and provided students with more digitally-focused engineering and learning experiences. NSWCPD hosts Temple STEM Summer Camp Tours and Talks

PHILADELPHIA (29 July 2019) Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) engineer Cassie Miller explains the Chilled Water Automation System (CWAS) test site during the annual Temple STEM Summer Camp. The summer camp provided local middle and high school students a chance to tour test sites and labs in the Command as well as engage in panel discussions featuring NSWCPD engineers.
