NSWC Dahlgren Civilian Personnel Honored with Secretary of Defense Global War on Terrorism Medal

(Nov. 1, 2017) - Five recipients of the Secretary of Defense Medal for the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) Medal are flanked by Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Commanding Officer Capt. Godfrey 'Gus' Weekes and NSWCDD Technical Director John Fiore at a ceremony held at the command's leadership meeting. The GWOT Medal was presented to the NSWC Dahlgren employees to recognize and honor their contributions and accomplishments in direct support of the armed forces engaged in operations to combat terrorism.
