NSWC Panama City adds new facility to impact fleet subsea and seabed, mine warfare missions
February 12, 2025 — Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) continued its commitment to warfighter solutions with the addition of its new Acoustic Test Facility and Instrumentation building during a ribbon-cutting ceremony onboard Naval Support Activity Panama City, Feb. 5. This 1,400 square foot facility will provide instrumentation, data acquisition, and electronics staging areas, supporting the NSWC PCD Acoustic Test & Calibration Pier Service Cost Center. It will enable the Navy lab’s team to develop and test advanced sensors, systems, payloads, and platforms for subsea and seabed warfare and mine warfare mission areas... MORE
