NSWC IHEODTD Teams with Community on New Technology Transfer Office Space

NSWC IHEODTD Technical Director Ashley Johnson and Commanding Officer Scott Kraft participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Energetics Technology Center's (ETC's) new Technology Transfer, Training and TechFire (T4) space at the Town of Indian Head's Black Box Theatre, March 1. The ETC is a is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization and the TechFire program is funded by the Charles County Economic Development Department and through contracts with the Army Research Lab and the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division.

NSWC IHEODTD finalizes CITE Partnership with Nammo Energetics Indian Head

NSWC IHEODTD officially announced its partnership with Nammo Energetics Indian Head (NEIH), under the command's Center for Industrial and Technical Excellence (CITE) designation, Jan. 19. CITE is a statutory authority allowing public-private partnerships to perform work related to the command's core competencies. This designation allows the Navy to more efficiently maintain an organic energetics capability and manage under-utilized capacity.
