NSWC Dahlgren Civilian Personnel Honored with Secretary of Defense Global War on Terrorism Medal

(Nov. 1, 2017) - Five recipients of the Secretary of Defense Medal for the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) Medal are flanked by Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Commanding Officer Capt. Godfrey 'Gus' Weekes and NSWCDD Technical Director John Fiore at a ceremony held at the command's leadership meeting. The GWOT Medal was presented to the NSWC Dahlgren employees to recognize and honor their contributions and accomplishments in direct support of the armed forces engaged in operations to combat terrorism. Crane Continues Partnership efforts, Promotes State and Regional Growth

INDIANAPOLIS – Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) T2 Director, Brooke Pyne, and Deputy for Small Business, Matt Burkett, participated in ‘How to Do Business with NSWC Crane’ on Tuesday, an event hosted by the Indy Chamber of Commerce. Both Pyne and Burkett spoke to attendees about how to access technical equipment, collaborate with Crane, license Navy-developed technology, and more.
