The Navy birthday cake-cutting ceremony is important to all Sailors, as it is an annual renewal of each Sailor's commitment to the Navy and the Navy's commitment to our nation's quest for peace and freedom worldwide. Godfrey ‘Gus’ Weekes, NSWC Dahlgren Division commanding officer hold the Virginia General Assembly Resolution proclaiming Oct. 16 as Dahlgren Day during the grand finale celebration of the NSWC Dahlgren Division centennial.
