FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Eighteen-year-old Joseph Shanklin, West Moreland High School graduate, participated in the NSWCDD Science and Engineering Apprenticeship Program with a team that created software for an all-terrain autonomous rover with object detection and manual override capability.
