SurgeMain Sailors begin their annual training program with a renewed emphasis on warfighting readiness

SurgeMain Sailors practice the procedure for inserting a large-bore needle in order to decompress a simulated tension pneumothorax Feb. 2, during Tactical Combat Casualty Care training on Naval Base Kitsap-Bremerton, Washington. The program helped kick off the SurgeMain Sailors' annual two-week training deployment at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility.
