NSWC IHD Employees Recognized with Top Navy Civilian Service Awards

Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) leadership honored eight personnel from the NSWC IHD Systems Engineering Department and Expeditionary Exploitation Unit One with Department of the Navy Civilian Service Commendation Medals at an awards presentation at the command, July 19. EXU-1 Conducts Maritime Post-Blast Investigation Course

An Expeditionary Exploitation Unit One Technical Exploitation Platoon member collects evidence during a site exploitation training scenario as part of the maritime post-blast investigation course at Naval Air Station Key West, June 2-9. The course was developed to expand and develop EOD operator’s skillset in maritime post-blast exploitation techniques through classroom coursework, diving and strategic case study analysis.
