Panama City scientist awarded Top Navy Scientist Award

Dr. Richard Tatum, Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division scientist, was recently recognized with the Individual Scientist Award from the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Research, Development and Acquisition) 2023 Dr. Delores M. Etter Top Scientists and Engineers Awards. He developed and extended a mathematical framework to identify cost-effective, hypothetical autonomous systems to accomplish fleet mission goals. Panama City engineer wins Top Navy award

Andrew Bouchard, a Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) engineer, was recently selected as a recipient of the Individual Engineer Award for 2022 by the Assistant Secretary of the Navy Research, Development and Acquisition (ASN RD&A) Dr. Delores M. Etter Top Navy Scientists and Engineers Awards committee. This award recognizes the top Naval engineers and scientists who demonstrate superior technical merit, innovation and operational impact in alignment with ASN RD&A priorities.
