NAVSEA Recognizes Excellence

WASHINGTON, DC (June 11, 2026) - Vice Admiral Jim Downey, Commander, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Ms. Leslie Joseph, Deputy Commander, Total Force and Corporate Operations, hosted the NAVSEA Excellence Awards in the auditorium. The 2025 NAVSEA Excellence in Acquisition Award is presented to Mr. Michael J. Campbell (center).

NAVSEA Announces 2025 Active and Reserve Sailors of the Year

WASHINGTON, DC (April 16, 2026) - Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) 2025 Sailor of the Year (SOY) ceremony was hosted by Vice Admiral Jim Downey, Commander, NAVSEA, and held in the auditorium at the Washington Navy Yard. ND1 Andrew Turner, Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Keyport, was the active duty winner, and ET1 Carl Frost II, Surgemain Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Raleigh, was the reservist winner.
