DAHLGREN, Va. - Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) senior engineer Ralph Stewart briefs congressional staffers on the 105 MM gun weapon system during the delegation's tour of the NSWCDD Battle Management System and Laboratory, July 29. The staffers - representing congressmen and women from Rhode Island, California, Alabama, Virginia, Hawaii, Indiana and Oklahoma - also received tours and briefings on the electromagnetic railgun, directed energy, virtualization, cybersecurity, and combined integrated air and missile defense-antisubmarine warfare. NSWCDD is a premier research and development center that serves as a specialty site for weapon system integration.
