Bring a Child to Work Day was a huge success! We opened our doors to the children of SWRMC to showcase what we do and inspire the next generation of thinkers!
The event allowed children to tour our Graving Dock, production shops and ships on the waterfront, interact with divers, and get hands on with demonstrations from our Security, Safety, IT, Engineering and Quality Assurance teams!
We want to give a huge thank you to USS Boxer (LHD 4), USS Princeton (CG 59) and USS Montgomery (LCS 8) for supporting our event with tours of your ship and to The Destroyers of Navy Band Southwest for rocking out with us! Last but certainly not least, thank you to the volunteers of SWRMC for organizing and working our best Bring a Child to Work Day yet!
