SUPSHIP GROTON, Conn.– SUPSHIP Groton employees enjoyed a series of jubilant events on 19 July to include welcoming four new employees, praise to an employee receiving Captain Gillespy’ s personal coin, awarding a Navy officer with the Navy Achievement Medal, and as a grand finale, or shall I say – icing on the cake – of the day was an employee surprise birthday celebration. These activities simply add to the enjoyment of the day-to-day work we do at SUPSHIP Groton. We work hard for the Navy mission, recognize excellence, and care for one other. It’s what we do every day!
