Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia - June 11, 2020) Commander, Navy Regional Maintenance Center Rear Adm. Eric Ver Hage greets Secretary of the Navy Kenneth Braithwaite as he arrives to tour the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) Production Facility. Ver Hage hosted Braithewaite; Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Michael Gilday and Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic Rear Adm. Roy Kitchener during a visit to meet MARMC Sailors and civilians. The Secretary of the Navy, Chief of Naval Operations and Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy are visiting the Fleet together with a focus on maintenance and readiness related efforts. MARMC provides surface ship maintenance, management and oversight of private sector maintenance and fleet technical assistance to ships in the Mid-Atlantic region.
