CAPT Jon Moretty

CAPT Jon H. Moretty, a native of Portland, OR, enlisted in the Navy in 1989. He was selected for the Nuclear Enlisted Commissioning Program, graduating with honors from Oregon State University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and was commissioned via Officer Candidate School. He holds a Master of Business Administration from San Diego State University and Master of Arts in Strategic Studies and National Security from Naval War College where he was selected as Mahan Scholar and performed Chief of Naval Operations directed research on China’s nuclear program.
