Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) is located at Naval Base Ventura County in the city of Port Hueneme, California. NSWC PHD is on the Southern California coastline midway between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. The Division is a tenant organization at the naval base, with highly technical activities and distinctly different objectives than those of other tenant commands.

Getting Here

Traveling to Port Hueneme from the 101‐ VENTURA FWY either North or South, exit at Victoria Ave. and proceed
South toward coast. Follow Victoria Ave., about 6 miles to Channel Islands Blvd.; turn left on Channel Islands
Blvd., and follow to Ventura Rd. turn right on Ventura Rd. and the first entrance to the base is at Knott Gate.
Knott Gate is open 24 hours.
