Flexible Hours

NSWC IHD is proud to offer employees several options for flexible work schedules.  Most NSWC IHD employees work 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.  Employees on this work schedule may flex their start and end times, provided they are present during specified core hours.  Employees on the flexible work schedule may also earn and use credit hours for additional leave time, with supervisor approval.  Some positions offer the option for employees to select a compressed work schedule, where they work 80 hours per biweekly pay period in fewer than 10 workdays.
