Naval Surface Warfare Center volunteers provide school supplies to local students
Stephen Carr and Nicole Waters offload donations at Hutchison Beach Elementary School Aug. 8 as part of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division’s (NSWC PCD) annual Back to School Supply Drive. According to NSWC PCD supply-drive volunteers and coordinators, this year’s donations surpassed last year’s “…by the dozens.” A total of 113 backpacks with hundreds of supplies, such as pencils, crayons, notebooks, and various other necessities, were distributed among local schools.
