KUWAIT (2011) — Navy Cmdr. Karen Wingeart (right) reenlisted a Sailor aboard a security boat at a Kuwaiti Naval Base in 2011 while recalled to active duty from the Navy Reserve. Wingeart coordinated the at-sea re-enlistment with a Coast Security Detachment during a desert-based deployment, allowing Sailors assigned to the Theater Field Confinement Facility to briefly return to the water.
