WEST BETHESDA, Md. - Personnel from Penguin Computing were onsite to install new High-Performance Computing server clusters in Carderock's Ship Engineering and Analysis Technology Center (SEATech) at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, on May 9, 2025, at West Bethesda, Md. The upgrades are part of a first-of-its-kind lease agreement for Carderock, ensuring faster computation times, greater efficiency, and fewer obstacles for technical teams tackling critical naval research programs. Carderock, the Navy's ship design and innovation powerhouse, provides the technical foundation for the future fleet through world-class research, development, and testing.
