It has to be 100 percent perfect or we don’t sign off on it,” said Douglas. Roach added, “There’s just too much at risk for the Sailors on the flight deck that they need to have the confidence that the jet blast deflectors’ mechanical pieces will not fail them any time during flight operations.”
