NEW BEDFORD, MASS. - Fourth-grade students work on their engineering skills building Bristlebots (robots made from toothbrushes) at the SeaLab Marine Science Education Program held in New Bedford in December 2017. Science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) is one of the core educational outreach programs for which the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport was honored with a Personal Excellence Partnership Flagship Award.
