DAHLGREN, Va. — Old Dominion University student Adam Daniels presents his research on an “FPGA (field-programmable gate array) Programmer” to military and government personnel during his 2016 summer internship. Daniels - among 22 students who completed their internships at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) - is working towards a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering. “Before this internship, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do after graduating,” said Daniels. “Now, I can't wait to graduate and eventually work here to continue my project. NREIP (Naval Research Enterprise Intern Program) has given me direction, purpose, and motivation to finish school and become an engineer.”
