Prestigious Association of Old Crows Taps Armen Kvryan to Speak at Recent Event

Transhield, Inc., through a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), manufactures these protective covers designed to shield Navy combat weapon systems from external scrutiny and protect the equipment from corrosion.
PHD’s materials subject matter expert Armen Kvryan presented on the covers and the agreement to cooperatively develop them by invitation at the revered Association of Old Crows Electromagnetic Spectrum) Summit, held virtually May 19 and 20. The Alexandria, Va.-based association specializes in electromagnetic warfare, and attracts experts from across the military branches, private industry and academia to its international symposiums, professional development courses, publications, nearly 70 regional chapters and conferences.

Navy’s Second Ship to Shore Connector Completes Acceptance Trials

The Navy’s next generation landing craft, Ship to Shore Connector (SSC), Land Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) 101, concluded acceptance trials the week of June 8 after successfully completing a series of graded in-port and underway demonstrations for the Navy's Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV).
