The U.S. Navy accepted delivery of the Navy's AN/SPY-6(V)1 Air and Missile Defense Radar System at land-based test site Combat Systems Engineering Development Site (CSEDS) in
Moorestown, N.J., Oct. 7. Installing and integrating the radar system at CSEDS enables the Navy to save time and expense testing and evaluating new radar capabilities that support and protect the warfighter.

NEEC Graduates Provide NSWCPD with Experience and Expertise

PHILADELPHIA – Rowan University students and faculty toured Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) test sites and labs on Oct. 24 during a kick-off for the third year of a Naval Engineering Education Consortium (NEEC) research grant. During the tour, NSWCPD’s Applied Superconductivity team leader and a Rowan alumnus, Dr. Jacob Kephart (center), highlighted the Command’s High Temperature Superconducting lab which conducts similar research to Rowan’s project.
