Command Master Chief Charles Kevin Parsons, USN

Command Master Chief, Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF)

A native of Reno, Texas, Master Chief Parsons enlisted in the United States Navy in January, 2000. Upon completion of Recruit Training in Great Lakes, Illinois, he attended Basic Enlisted Machinist Mate ‘A’ schools in Great Lakes, Chicago. Since completing entry level training, he has graduated from Second Class Diver, First Class Diver, Master Diver, the Senior Enlisted Academy and the Command Master Chief courses.

Past assignments include USS Salvor (ARS 52), Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit 1 (Det 3), Naval Research Laboratory (Sea Component), Sea, Air, and Land (SEAL) Delivery Vehicles Team 1, Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY&IMF), Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit 1 (CO 1-3/CO 1-8), and Navy Expeditionary Combat Forces Command (CTF 56). He reported to PHNSY&IMF in August of 2020, where he currently serves as the Command Master Chief and Master Diver.

Master Chief Parsons is a qualified Master Diver, Diving Warfare Specialist, Expeditionary Warfare Specialist, Surface Warfare Specialist, and earned his Small Craft Insignia. Master Chief Parsons’ personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (five awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (seven awards), and numerous unit and campaign awards.
