MAYPORT NAVAL STATION, Fla. - –

Director of Fleet Maintenance, Rear Adm. Mark Whitney, spent the day at Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) Nov. 1st, receiving a tour of key production shops and labs.

Whitney engaged with the Commanding Officer and key staff on issues related to ship maintenance and logistics requirements to support operational forces. Upon completion, Whitney left SERMC with a better understanding of SERMC’s ship maintenance capabilities and capacity, logistics requirements and innovative practices.
