Many thanks to the Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) team in San Diego for hosting Ms. Alaleh Jenkins and members of our FM&C team on 12 September 2023! Ms. Jenkins continued her BSO Listening Tour with the SWRMC team, getting a greater appreciation of what the team does to support the warfighter, and discussing workforce issues with this mission-focused staff. During the visit, Ms. Alaleh Jenkins engaged with the CO, CAPT John Bauer, SWRMC Comptroller John Skober, and Deputy Comptroller Tracy Dennis, and their finance staff. The visit would not be complete without our Financial Management Administration (FMA) team led by Mr. Pete Bowman and Ms. Megan Gyorda getting a first hand tour of the USS ANCHORAGE (LPD-23) in San Diego, CA. What a great experience to tour the second ship of the United States Navy to be namesake of the U.S. city of Anchorage, Alaska! Special thanks to the entire team at SWRMC for arranging this tour and hosting our team! The team was honored to visit the with SWRMC and we look forward to continued engagement.
