NSWC Crane hosts first virtual Advanced Planning Briefings for Industry

By Sarah K. Miller, NSWC Crane Corporate Communications

Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) is hosting its first virtual Advanced Planning Briefings for Industry (APBI) event from June 7-11, 2021. Registration is now live and open to the public to participate.

The APBI event will provide detailed information on industry, academia, future NSWC Crane technology efforts, criteria, possible contract opportunities, as well as how to do business with NSWC Crane. APBI includes presentations and discussions on how NSWC Crane, industry, and academia can collaborate and build thriving partnerships to ensure future Warfighter success.

Kelly Siffin, the Chief of Contracting for NSWC Crane, says APBI 2021 will be informative.

“We are very excited to host APBI virtually this year,” says Siffin. “APBI is for those who have and haven’t worked with NSWC Crane. This event is an opportunity for those who are interested in learning more to have questions answered directly from experts.”

The APBI series will include eight sessions throughout the week from NSWC Crane senior leadership discussing a broad range of topics: Global Deterrence and Defense, Special Warfare and Expeditionary Systems, Spectrum Warfare Systems, Corporate Operations, small businesses, information technology, cybersecurity, Contractor Support Services, Defense Modernization Priorities, Technology Transfer, and the NavalX Midwest Tech Bridge.

The series will take place online on Microsoft Teams. Click here to access the full agenda, and here to register.
