NSWC Crane Honored at the Annual Combined Federal Campaign Awards Ceremony

The 2016-2017 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) Awards Ceremony was held on February 9, 2017 at the Garrison Restaurant in Indianapolis, Indiana and NSWC Crane’s accomplishments were highlighted due to the amazing results of the last CFC.  On top of raising $137,215 for CFC in 2016, Crane’s overall participation rate was the highest it had been since 2012 at 10.1% and well surpassed the 5.4% it was in 2015.  The total dollars raised was the most since 2012 and up from $118,352 in 2015.  Every single department at NSWC Crane increased their participation in 2016.

Departments from NSWC Crane that received Spotlight Awards were: Command Staff, Contracting Department, Corporate Operations, Global Deterrence & Defense, Special Warfare & Expeditionary Systems and Spectrum.  Crane Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) also received Spotlight Awards.

NSWC Crane’s Comptroller Department earned a Platinum Plate to add to their plague for achieving 100% participation and NSWC Crane’s Contracting Department won the award for the Largest Increase In Percentage Of  Participation.

NSWC Crane was also well represented in the category of Extraordinary Individuals who were nominated for their exceptional efforts of going above and beyond the call of duty and were acknowledged for their dedication to the campaign and those who are served by it.  Those individuals recognized were: Chelsey Bailey, Kathy Burns, Roger Clark, Paula Herendeen, Jarad King, Brenda Mathias, Jean Marie Reynolds and Natalee Woodward.
