NSWC Indian Head, Md. - A technician from NSWC IHD completes lining the inside of a Mk 12 rocket motor case ahead of casting Mk 70 propellant into the case. Lining enables proper binding of the case and propellant during curing operations. The command's Mk 70 PUSH program, funded by PMA-208 and TRMC, is reusing components from Mk 12 Terrier boosters to produce Mk 70 boosters for fleet readiness and training needs.
