Command’s First Other Transaction Agreement Will Shorten Acquisition Prototype Process

PORT HUENEME, Calif. - Steve Bates (right), vice president of Advanced Technology International’s (ATI) sea, air and space division, delivers a presentation to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) leadership Feb. 18 in California. Using an Other Transaction Authority agreement, the command established ATI as the consortium manager of NSWC PHD’s Maritime Advanced Technology Accelerator Consortium (MATAC).
