WEST BETHESDA, Md. - Department of Defense STEM Ambassadors pass around an additively manufactured submarine model inside Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division’s Additive Manufacturing Lab in West Bethesda, Md., on Feb. 22, 2024. The DoD STEM Ambassadors Program consists of high-performing educators around the country and provides them with a unique, enriching opportunity to create and curate new STEM learning resources for students nationwide. Carderock's Outreach Team used their STEM-In-a-box initiative to demonstrate an example of engaging activities that can be used in the classroom at low-cost.
