Super Flood Basin is Filled Supporting Docking of USS Cheyenne

PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD, Maine - KITTERY, ME. April 12, 2022, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard: USS Cheyenne (SSN 773) makes history as she becomes the first attack submarine to utilize the newly constructed Super Flood Basin to enter Dry Dock #1 without the use of buoyancy assist tanks and independent of the Piscataqua river tides.
