KING GEORGE, Va. (Jan. 24, 2020) – Retired Army Sgt. 1st Class Karl Steinsberger, Jr., a computer scientist in the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Combat Systems Cyber Engineering Branch, and Serita Seright, an engineer in NSWCDD Gun and Electric Weapons Systems Department participate in a 10-minute short, focused conversation at the Veteran Speed Mentoring Event held at the University of Mary Washington, Dahlgren campus. “I want to see how they become mentors and follow in that path,” Seright said before joining the session as a mentee. “You are a very important asset to the United States Navy or whatever service you support,” was the message Steinsberger hoped to leave with the veterans he mentored at the event hosted by the NSWCDD Workforce Development and Veteran Integration Program.
